Information about Trainings

In the Centre for Medical Simulation, students can develop a practical skill or work out a scenario simulation according to the subject of the class. In addition, they have the opportunity to practice teamwork.

According to the tasks, in the TESIMED there are rooms for development of practical skills (in obstetrics, gynaecology, surgery, paediatrics, traumatology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, medical procedures); simulation halls (delivery, emergency and acute care rooms, acute paediatric care, pre-hospital emergency medical care and nursing care wards); debriefing rooms (two types). A two-way voice and video communication between all the halls is a key element of the training in the centre.

In the Centre for Medical Simulation, students can develop a practical skill or work out a scenario simulation according to the subject of the class. In addition, they have the opportunity to practice teamwork

The work in the debriefing rooms allows reviewing and analysing videos of the actions of each student and a team as a whole in working out a scenario simulation. We always pay attention to the technique of carrying out a procedure as well as to other aspects related to non-technical skills: communication and interaction in the team, decision-making, the role of a leader, tasks distribution, the efficiency of managing of all team members, etc.
